¡Ciudad de México Book Giveaway!

We really meant to do this back nearer our time in Mexico City (ie July 2021), then at various points thereafter, then for certain at Christmas, then really for certain at Orthodox Christmas (aka The Real Christmas aka The Procrastinator's Christmas). But luckily Amazon has forced our hand by deciding to shutter its bookselling subsidiary* with free international delivery on 26 April 2023.

Anyway, the competition is thus: Take a look at the two photos below of fairly nondescript buildings in Mexico City, which were taken last summer, and then tell us exactly 1) Which famous person or persons are most associated with the building, and 2) What noteworthy activity occurred therein. Deadline is 12.00 noon Malaysian time on 25 April.

Answers should be sent as a message to our Facebook page or via email here. That's it. In the event of multiple correct answers, the most complete answer will win, or we'll just give away multiple prizes.

*As much as we despise Amazon and everything it stands for, and also know that Amazon owns Book Depository, the greasy tentacles of this society destroying Leviathan simply can't be avoided if one is trying to run a competition with zero budget. Apologies for the hypocrisy. Although we've always felt that being aware of one's hypocrisy is somehow less worse than not being aware of it....
