Did Clooney Boycott Israel?

Must be nice to be so rich that you can turn down $35m for one day's work. Also, if we had to bet, our money would be on Qatar or Saudia offering this, or maybe Turkish. Can't imagine El Al needs the husband of a Lebanese human rights lawyer as a spokesperson.

And we say this as a longtime Clooney fan (or at least we pretended to be as a joke, and then it seeped over into reality at some point): It's a bit strange that he has a spine when it comes to uncouth state actors, but not multinational corporate ones….
