Clouds Over Plaza Bolívar

Some beautifully sublime, albeit clearly ominous, dark storm clouds gathering over Colombian Congress (and the Presidential Palace behind it) on Plaza Bolívar yesterday. Bogotá seems relatively empty and quiet between Christmas and New Year, but luckily the atmospheric tunes blasting from food and beverage vendor carts never stop.....

NB: And of course the plaza's most impressive building - ie Catedral Basílica Metropolitana de la Inmaculada Concepción y San Pedro Primada de Colombia (which just rolls off the non-Spanish speaking tongue!) - isn't visible, since we're leaning up against it....
