Love Connection?
Yesterday's impromptu lunch date went fine, although in the end it didn't seem like a love connection was made. Our pregnant dining companion seemed more interested in our flip flops than us, and, to be perfectly honest, really didn't offer much in the way of conversation.
Although, in her defence, our grasp of the local language still leaves much to be desired. Kind of makes you wonder why we both swiped right though. Oh well. And in any event, the chicken tomyam was excellent, and the portion so large it took some effort to finish....
