First Impressions of Kathmandu
We were lucky to find an open momo place, as apparently 930pm is closing time for everything except alcohol shops if you're outside of the city centre.
Otherwise, the highlight thus far has probably been coming across the Nirvana Online Store, while the lowlight was discovering that the neighbourhood is full of stray dogs, who are still barking incessantly as it approaches midnight.
And a last fun fact, it's almost midnight here, because Nepal is GMT+5:45, which is amazing. It's a shame that more countries don't thumb their nose at the concept of time and choose even more random divergences from our de facto time lords in Greenwich....
