On This Day

ON THIS DAY in 2020 we were nearing the end of a glorious two-week stay in Wadi Rum, where we spent pretty much every day just wandering around the desert barefoot. Definitely a top tier bucket list item if you've never been, although in recent years they've unfortunately let overdevelopment run a bit rampant.

And FYI, it's hard to tell from the photo, but that mountain/rock in the distant background is more than 1000 metres high and juts straight up out of the sand, just to give some idea of the scale of the place....
