Window Seat, Sans Window
Not sure what was more annoying about our flight from Manila to Dubai this morning: Booking a window seat only to find out that row 23 on Cebu Pacific's A330neos don't have really have windows, or that the flight crew made everyone on the plane keep the shades down for the entire 8-hour trip. The latter more or less rendering the former a moot point.
Not that there was much to see when we did turn around to sneak a peek. Ah, and the pre-ordered beef adobo was fine, but we'd hoped for more. But you can't really complain when you paid $70 to fly from Manila to Dubai.
And at the end of the day, we were just happy to have made the flight after getting stuck in Manila's notoriously terrible traffic, with the 4km trip taking almost an hour....
