Slovenia is a Real Country, I Promise

Second time in one month when an EU border police officer had literally never heard of Slovenia and thought we had a fake ID. At least the lady at the Ukraine-Poland border a few weeks ago was incredibly attractive, friendly, laughed at our jokes and lived in a village.

The Greek dude this morning had none of those excuses, and also told us to 'Calm down' when he went to check with his boss about basic European geography, after we assured him that Slovenia was indeed a real place and one of the 27 EU countries.

On the positive side, this didn't rank as one of our top 3 worst experiences at Athens airport, so at least there's that..... #silverlining
