Of course we never got round to posting most of the random Christmas photos we took in Bogotá over the past month, and now the calendar says 2022. Oops. But since anything is possible these days, maybe this will be the year we finally stop procrastinating....
As a general rule of thumb, it seems the more colourful a neighbourhood (or barrio) is painted, the more dangerous it is, and this photo was taken in an incredibly colourful neighbourhood, one street from where the unofficial "frontier" lies, where even locals don't pass unless they live there....
Loved the fact that the rock n roll music shop had a bunch of inflatable Jack Skellingtons outside....

Bogotá isn't exactly tropical, but always love to see Christmas décor in front of palm trees....

Was incredibly surprised to see the local supermarkets well stocked with various types of the famed Italian panettone (both imported and locally made). So surprised that I felt obligated to buy it, even though no one likes it....
This is obviously my favourite of the lot. There's so much going on here, I feel like I could stare at it for days and always find something new, a clue to some mystery perhaps. Incredible....
