Street Cats x Albaik
For a city that's so full of street cats - who generally seem to be well-treated and well-fed, although also tend to look quite haggard (to put it nicely) - Jeddah's feline inhabitants are about as skittish as they come. Unless you've got something they want.
Yesterday evening this something was a Double Baik* from the incredibly popular, local chicken joint Albaik. Lucky for this guy, we always share our food. And lucky for us, he was nice enough to st still for a photo op after polishing off our chicken scraps....
*Our verdict: Tasty enough, but too much chicken, too much cheese. Next time get two Single Baiks for a more optimal flavour ratio....
