Visa Extension N°3

When you figure April Fool's Day is a fitting time to finally bid Nepal adieu, so you splurge on an extra four days for your visa extension beyond the minimum 15 required, and naively hope your $57 fee finds its way into some sustainable tourism development projects....

NB: This photo was taken in the garden of a local hipster restaurant and watering hole that specialises in all manner of pork, where we celebrated visa extension #3 with a heaping plate of meat (despite the fact we'd just eaten lunch), various accoutrements and a plastic litre bottle of local moonshine. Needless to say, it was probably one of the best meals we've had recently.....
