You Say Porch, I Say Veranda

As they say, it's better late than never, but it's still disappointing that we spent the past 3 weeks talking about the unimaginably idyllic views from the 'porch of our bungalow', when we could have spent the whole time talking about the unimaginably idyllic views from the 'veranda of our chalet' instead.

It's of course the exact same physical place either way, but verandas and chalets are clearly on a whole other level of sophistication than porches and bungalows when it comes to accommodation options....
