KL Nostalgia Tour: Food Highlights
Yesterday was a long nostalgia tour around KL, and the plan was to bore you with full documentation thereof, but we've got stuff to do today, so we'll just stick to the food, namely:
π²πΎ π²πΎ a bowl of Sarawak kolo mee (ie super flavourful pork noodles from Borneo) at our former local kopitiam (ie Malaysian style food court) for breakfast,
π«π· π«π· a heavenly caramel cream cheese pastry from a bakery in the basement of the building where the French embassy is located (owned by a Japanese guy who trained in France), and
πΈπΎ πΈπΎ a succulent, Syrian style chicken shawarma with just the right amount of toum (garlic sauce), ie enough so that you can still taste it when you go to bed many hours later
Mmmm mmmm mmmm.....
