When you fly a lot without checked bags and have a beard and don't mind looking like an unkempt vagabond, but also don't want to stray over the line into 'deranged vagabond that people cross the street to avoid' territory, it means you are often buying little scissors in drugstores or supermarkets in random countries after getting your previous pair confiscated by airport security, which means feeling slightly awkward, because these little scissors are usually in the women's cosmetics section.

But not so in Bangkok, where gender is most definitely a very long muddled spectrum (if it's even a thing at all) and large mainstream supermarkets have full aisles dedicated to cosmetics for men, so there's absolutely no need for anyone to feel awkward anywhere. Or at least that was our main takeaway when seeing these sexy, androgynous lads hawking $5 eyeliner....
